    Cleanser

    AM + PM

Dry skin loses moisture through harsh cleansing. These are cream and oil based cleansers that lift sunscreen and makeup without stripping your barrier.

Use lukewarm water. Hot water pulls even more moisture out of dry skin.

    Cleanser

    AM + PM

Foaming and gel cleansers that clear excess sebum and unclog pores, without the squeaky tightness that makes oily skin produce even more oil.

Cleanse twice at night: oil first to dissolve sunscreen, then foam.

    Cleanser

    AM + PM

Low pH, fragrance free cleansers built for reactive skin. They clean thoroughly while leaving your barrier intact.

If your skin stings or turns red after cleansing, the cleanser is too strong.

    Cleanser

    AM + PM

A gentle daily cleanser is the base of every routine. It removes sunscreen, sweat and pollution so the rest of your products can actually work.

Always cleanse at night. Morning cleansing can be water only if your skin feels comfortable.

    Toner

    AM + PM

Hydrating toners are the first layer of moisture. They are watery, absorb fast and prepare your skin so everything after them works better.

Pat two thin layers instead of one thick one. Layering holds far more water.

    Toner

    Evening

Exfoliating toners with BHA or AHA clear dead skin out of pores. This is what visibly reduces blackheads and rough texture over time.

Start two evenings a week. Daily use from day one usually causes irritation.

    Toner

    AM + PM

Calming toners with centella or heartleaf bring down redness and reactivity, without acids or fragrance that could set your skin off.

Keep it in the fridge. Cold application calms flushing faster.

    Toner

    AM + PM

Toner rebalances your skin after cleansing and adds the first layer of hydration, so your serum and moisturizer absorb properly.

Apply to slightly damp skin, straight after cleansing.

    Treatment for acne

    AM + PM

Targeted serums with niacinamide, BHA or azelaic acid that calm active breakouts and stop pores clogging again.

Give it eight weeks. Skin cell turnover takes about a month, so results are never instant.

    Treatment for dark spots

    AM + PM

Vitamin C, tranexamic acid and alpha arbutin fade post acne marks and pigmentation, and stop new spots forming.

Pointless without daily sunscreen. UV undoes the work faster than the serum can fix it.

    Treatment for fine lines

    Evening

Retinal, peptides and PDRN support collagen and firmness. This is the step that works on lines rather than just hydrating them away.

Retinoids at night only, and always follow with moisturizer.

    Treatment for dryness

    AM + PM

Hyaluronic acid and panthenol serums pull water into the skin and hold it there, so your skin stops feeling tight by midday.

Apply to damp skin, then seal with moisturizer. On dry skin it can pull moisture out instead.

    Treatment for redness

    AM + PM

Centella and mugwort serums bring down visible redness and strengthen a barrier that reacts too easily.

Cut back on actives while your skin settles. Less is genuinely more here.

    Treatment for pores

    AM + PM

Niacinamide and BHA serums clear pores out and refine how visible they look. Pore size is genetic, but congestion is not.

Consistency beats strength. A mild serum daily beats a strong one now and then.

    Treatment for dullness

    AM + PM

Vitamin C and fermented glow serums brighten tired, flat looking skin and even out your overall tone.

Use vitamin C in the morning, under sunscreen. The two work well together.

    Moisturizer

    AM + PM

Richer creams with ceramides and shea that seal in everything underneath and stop water escaping overnight.

Apply within a minute of your serum, while skin is still slightly damp.

    Moisturizer

    AM + PM

Lightweight gel textures that hydrate fully without a heavy film. Oily skin still needs moisture, just not heavy oils.

Skipping moisturizer makes oily skin produce more oil, not less.

    Moisturizer

    AM + PM

Barrier repair creams with ceramides and panthenol, without fragrance or essential oils that reactive skin dislikes.

A short, boring routine is the fastest way to calm sensitive skin.

    Moisturizer

    AM + PM

Moisturizer locks in the hydration from every step before it and keeps your barrier working. Lighter by day, richer at night.

Do not skip it on oily days. Dehydrated skin overproduces oil to compensate.

    Sunscreen

    Morning

The single most effective step against pigmentation and ageing. Korean sunscreens are light, invisible and pleasant enough that you will actually wear them.

Two fingers worth for face and neck, every morning, also indoors and in winter.

    Treatment

    AM + PM

A targeted serum carries a higher concentration of actives for the concern you picked.

Apply serum before moisturizer, on slightly damp skin.
